Activist Care Circle: Post Election Wind Down
Thursday, Nov. 21st, 7:30-9:00 pm, Activist Care Circle: Post Election Wind Down, Indivisible's Activist Care Circle workshops have been curated with the needs of Indivisible group leaders and members in mind. Over the next two months you will be able to attend special workshops and have access to 1:1 coaching sessions. This Post-Election Wind Down workshop will be constructed based on the election outcome. Each one-hour* Activist Care Circle workshop includes a mix of interactive lessons, mindfulness moments, self-care practice, group discussion, and of course fun. Take a quick break, join your fellow activists, and spend time with folks who get it. Our goal is for you to leave with stress-reduction tools for your activist toolbox and more peace than you came in with. Register HERE.
*Workshops are 60 minutes. Attendees are invited, but not required, to continue for an optional additional 30 minutes of guided conversation and camaraderie. Interactive exercises are designed to function at each attendee’s comfort level, extroverts and introverts welcome alike.

Mohawk Valley Mutual Aid Network Organizing Meeting
Tuesday, Nov. 19th, 6:00-7:30 pm, Mohawk Valley Mutual Aid Network organizing meeting, Utica Public Library, 303 Genesee St. Utica. Many people will be negatively impacted by austerity, human rights abuses. and cuts. In response Beth, John, and others are organizing the Mohawk Valley Mutual Aid Network. People will need help navigating benefits, obtaining free food, home goods or other items, assisting people to avoid deportation and detention camps, paying rent, and more. You don’t have to do everything or anything big. Even the smallest stuff helps. Pizza will be served at the meeting.
Immigration Enforcement Response Convening
Saturday, Nov. 16th, 4:30-8:30 pm, Immigration Enforcement Response Convening, Bishop Harrison Center at All Saints 1342 Lancaster Ave. Syracuse NY. With the recent results of the presidential election we know the next administration is prioritizing mass deportations. NY Immigration Coalition is putting together this convening to bring organizers, volunteers, and community leaders across Central NY, the North Country and the Southern Tier to build understanding around immigration enforcement, concrete skills to deter, prevent and manage enforcement and collectively strategize and plan for local response to immigration enforcement. Bonfire for Humanity

There will be cider (hot, cold, and hard); and some light grub. There will be things you can beat on. And we may take a nature walk, for those able/inclined. Bring a friend, bring two, bring a dish or not, bring something to burn if you'd like.
IMV Post Election Fall Fiesta
Saturday, Nov. 9th, 1-3 pm, IMV Post Election Fall Fiesta, JCC, 2310 Oneida Street, Utica. This is our annual celebration of all the work we’ve done on the election, going back many months. We have the event catered by Rio Grande and the food is delicious. There is no charge for the event as we use our distributed Indivisi-gather funds to pay for the rental and food.
