We’re meeting in this beautiful, free conference room space for the first time.  It’s up the hill off the Parkway, on the right, before you get to the Utica Zoo parking lot. There is plenty of parking in the lot at the building. We’ll be talking about what we want to do for a Jan. 6th action and discussing how we can call out #NY22’s #WeakWilliams and hold him accountable in 2024.

Sunday, June 11th, 4:30 pm, IMV June Meeting, Schuyler Commons, 1776 Independence Square, Utica.  We'll gather at 4:30, have some food and a meeting. Bring some food to share if you can, your own beverage, and your own utensils (we'll have extras in case). Then we will head out in pairs at 5:30 pm to knock doors in the neighborhood for Celeste Friend for Mayor. Can't knock or drive a canvasser? We'll also have a phone bank option. Canvassing will be from 5:30-7:00 pm or so. See you there!

Every child in Utica should have a safe and welcoming school. The recent incident at Proctor High School reminds us that we must provide the community and school-based support to ensure that they do. The youth mental health crisis is real and profound, and it is clear that we must take immediate steps to address it. Join the community Tuesday Nov 15th at 500 Plant Street from 6-8 PM to hear from students, parents, and teachers on how we can provide the safe and welcoming schools our youth deserve.

We will have a cake to celebrate our five year anniversary of the June 2017 meeting when, after many months of direct political action, we adopted Indivisible Mohawk Valley as our official name. And we have a lot to work on toward the 2022 election and hot button issues.

We will have a huge cake to celebrate the confirmation of Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson to the SCOTUS, cover some ground on issues and electoral work, and then spend some time volunteering with door knocking (or for those who prefer, postcard prep) for James Paul who is on the ballot for Utica School Board May 17th.

A coalition of concerned citizens in Utica - will hold an emergency stop the violence community speak-out to hear from Utica residents on the issue of the escalation of gun violence in our city. IMV Climate Crisis Workgroup via ZOOM

Monday, Sept. 27th, 6:30 pm, IMV Climate Crisis Work Group, The Climate Crisis Working Group is starting back with monthly meetings this Monday, September 27th at 6:30pm with enthusiasm and energy (renewable that is!) to discuss how we as individuals and as a Working Group can affect change when it comes to Climate Change. We are going to work on state and federal legislation along with promoting different aspects of being part of the climate change solution by having an educational piece as part of our meetings. We will report back on our actions starting with calling our legislators. Our first member to motivate us in what we can do as individuals will be Buffy Curtis who will speak on her protest as part of STOP Line 3. Oneida County Democratic Women's Club Meeting

Several candidates who were unable to attend our August meeting will be in attendance.
