Wednesday, March 23rd, 7:00 pm, Indivisible’s Truth Brigade Wednesday Workshop and New Member Orientation, The Truth Brigade call will start 30 minutes later this week so that we can all push Joe -- and then fight disinfo -- at the Let’s Go Joe Livestream. On the fourth Wednesday of every month, join our workshop where we’ll have a new member orientation, "ask me anything!" discussions with staff and disinformation-fighting pros for new and existing members, message workshopping support, and -- maybe most important -- connect with a community of people who care as much as you do about rebuilding a society based on truth and trust.

Thursday, Sept. 23rd 9 am -12 noon, The Mohawk Valley Latino Association Upstate Latino Summit, on Zoom. This workshop is part of the 2020-2021 Upstate Latino Summit, which began in November of 2020. This event will discuss the struggles that the Asian community in Central New York is facing and how the Asian and Latino communities can create bridges and support each other in their struggle for advancement, racial justice, and equity. "What Stands Between Us? Understanding Racism in America and the Mohawk Valley" racial justice workshop
Saturday, Sept. 18th, 9:30am-2:30 pm, '“What Stands Between Us? Understanding Racism in America and the Mohawk Valley” racial justice workshop, Unitarian Universalist Church of Utica 10 Higby Road, Utica (outside under a tent). The workshop will be led by Mr. Patrick Johnson, a long time leader in racial justice and community building in Utica. Patrick founded Hoops and Dreams and New Life Institute in Utica, both important programs and organizations in the community with the mission to empower and rebuild Black America. He serves as the District Attorney’s Community Liaison with gang members and individuals who are at risk of lives in violence. The workshop will begin at 9:30 and run to approximately 2:30 with an hour break for lunch at noon. A simple lunch will be provided. Those interested in attending are welcome to register by emailing office@uuutica.org.
