GOTV Rally & Party Today then...

Blue NY22 Crew Party Tonight

Join Indivisible Mohawk Valley for a bite size, local, and fun party the night before GOTV (get out the vote) begins the next day!  We’ll have pizza, salad, drinks and desserts plus candidates, campaign staff, and volunteers who are ready to flip NY22 blue!  We're going to energize each other to do the work in the last four days that lead to tremendous voter turnout for our tremendous Democratic slate!   See you 5-7 pm tonight at our 2022 Blue NY22 Crew Party at 238 Genesee Street in Utica (next to Motus).

Parking note: If you don't see street parking nearby, you can park at the garage at the Delta Hotel (enter off of Genesee onto Washington Lane) or even at City Hall, and walk over from Broadway. There is plenty of parking.

We can't wait to see everyone, and neither can our candidates, especially Fran Conole!  Show up and let him and our other candidates know that you are going to carry him to victory with nonstop voter contact from Nov. 5th to Election Day!

Pop Up GOTV Rally in Clinton Today, 3-4 pm

Breaking news!  Last minute pop-up Rally for American Democracy tomorrow!  Friday, Nov. 4, 3 pm-4 pm Clinton Village Green.

This rally is a response to a Zeldin-Williams rally which was held on the Clinton Village Green on Wed., Nov. 2.  The Kirkland Town Democrats want to generate a crowd to show support for our Dem candidates.  Candidate lawn signs will be there and there will be signs to encourage early voting.  Please attend if you can so that the size of the group is larger than the 20-30 who showed up for the Zeldin-Williams rally.

Please bring signs about issues such as combatting the climate crisis, protecting Social Security and Medicare, protecting our right to vote, protecting choice, promoting a fair justice system, etc.  Or bring a sign for your favorite local candidate on the ballot.  Or just come to the Green to swell the crowd and show support for democracy.

Herkimer County Neighbor to Neighbor - Get Out the Vote

We are asking Herkimer County folks to spend just a little bit of time visiting 12 of your neighbors any time from Tuesday, Nov. 1st- Monday, Nov. 7th. The message is simple: remind folks to get out and vote. Tell them where your polling place is if they don't know. Hours of voting on Election Day are 6:00 am until 9:00 pm. If they voted early, THANK THEM!

You can choose to knock on doors to talk to them, leave some literature (we have lots of that*), or just visit the folks that you know well, or even call people on the phone. If we all do this, we can get out the votes!! (The only rule about dropping literature is don’t put it IN a mailbox. You can put it under or behind a mailbox, just not IN there. You can tuck it into the door or leave it on a chair on the porch. Whatever works. We also do have SOME door hangers for Matt Castelli ). We ask you to set a goal to reach 12 neighbors, in whatever way works for you.

If it would be vital to you to have a list of voters who are Democrats and live near you, let us know. Feel free, however, to take a more casual approach. And feel free to talk to moderate Republicans and unaffiliated voters as well!! We are hearing that many of them are going to vote for Castelli! Don’t forget to mention that he is also on the ‘Moderate Party’ line! No need to ‘vote Dem’ to vote for him! And for the State Supreme Court, remind them that there are 4 seats open! So they can vote for someone else AND Judge David Murad.

*To obtain literature, there will be a pick-up box at 15 W. Center Street, Mohawk and 532 E Gansevoort St, Little Falls (go through back gate on Jackson St and it will be on the back enclosed porch). Email us at herkdems@gmail.com if a list of Dems would be important to you.

New Time & Date for IMV's Post-Election Fiesta

IMV has a tradition of celebrating all our election work with a post-election fall fiesta! This year it was tough to get a location but we have one at last, a bit later in November. So rest on Nov 12-13 but then on Saturday, Nov. 19th at 3:30-5:3 pm, join IMV for our 2022 Post Election Fall Fiesta at the JCC (Jewish Community Center), 2310 Oneida Street, Utica. We'll have delicious Tex-Mex food once again from Rio Grande. And we'll have lots of fun together. Don't miss it!

"Could I Have Done More?"

You don't want to be asking that on Wednesday, Nov. 9th. That's it. That is the final message. Leave it all on the field. Don't have a sinking feeling in your stomach because you didn't volunteer to phone bank or canvass as many hours as you possibly could. That happened to far too many of us on Nov 9th, 2016.

We can't let the MAGA extremist, anti-abortion, election denying, millionaire tax-cutting Trump Republicans experience victory in this critical election. Our economy is too important to be trusted to people who want to privatize everything and hand it to the billionaire class on a platter. Our elders and children are too important. Our vulnerable neighbors are too important. Out human rights are too important. Our values are too important. Our lives and families are too important. Our climate future is too important. Our form of government is too important. Our freedoms are too important, too important to sit on the sidelines and watch them get mocked, trampled, and defeated at the polls.

Let's all work together to get out the vote.

Fired Up, Ready to Go!
Democracy is Not a Spectator Sport!

Together we Flipped NY22 in 2018. Together we defeated Trump in 2020. Now, together, we must defeat Trumpism!
