Let’s celebrate the birth of our nation together at Fort Stanwix immediately following our regular Saturday protest in Rome! Pack your favorite lunch, bring a beverage and a lawn chair, and stay to enjoy good food, great company, and a shared appreciation for the ideals on which our country was founded.

July 4th Independence Day parades and 250th events.  Help out local Democratic groups and candidates by walking with them in parades.  We should have more information soon, but be sure to fill out volunteer forms on the webpages of candidates you support to make it easier for them to reach out to you and ask you to participate when they need you!

Monday June 29th, 6:00-7:30pm, War Tax Resistance Workshop, Hamilton Public Library Community Room, 13 Broad St., Hamilton.  This workshop on war tax resistance will start by hearing from those attending about what is motivating them to question their participation in paying federal income taxes. We will also hear what immediate questions they have. Then we will hear a presentation about common methods of resisting taxes; generally, the historical and current enforcement methods of the IRS; and the process for people deciding how to proceed. Many printed resources will be available on these methods and consequences. More individual sessions can be scheduled for those that feel a need for further discernment and decision-making.

Say NO to the proposed AI data center coming into the former Remington Arms factory building in Ilion, NY, which is now owned by Turin Management LLC since late 2024. This is a peaceful protest.
