War Tax Resistance Workshop
Monday June 29th, 6:00-7:30pm, War Tax Resistance Workshop, Hamilton Public Library Community Room, 13 Broad St., Hamilton. This workshop on war tax resistance will start by hearing from those attending about what is motivating them to question their participation in paying federal income taxes. We will also hear what immediate questions they have. Then we will hear a presentation about common methods of resisting taxes; generally, the historical and current enforcement methods of the IRS; and the process for people deciding how to proceed. Many printed resources will be available on these methods and consequences. More individual sessions can be scheduled for those that feel a need for further discernment and decision-making.
