Big IMV Canvass to Celebrate Kamala's Birthday!

It is VP Harris' birthday on Sunday, Oct. 20th, and we know what she really wants as a gift: your time and effort to reach voters and convince them to go to the polls and vote for her and the Democrats!  She has committed herself 110% to protecting reproductive freedom, the rule of law and democracy, and access to a fair economic system.  We need to have her back on her birthday.

Please join IMV for a special Kamal Harris Birthday Canvass.  We promise to make it productive, fun, and delicious!

This is our last big action before the start of Early Voting on Oct. 26th.  Bring a friend or two if you can!
 

IMV's Harvest on the Hill Kids Vote Table

Harvest on the Hill is on Saturday, Oct. 26th. 

We look forward to hosting our  "Kids Vote" Table at the event on James Street in Cornhill once again. This is a very important voter outreach event for us.  We give out candy, help kids vote for their favorite candy, superhero, etc., and also talk to their family members about voting or registering to vote.  

And it is a super fun event.  You can donate candy at upcoming IMV events, and we also need a bunch of volunteers.  Here's the sign up sheet.  Whether you can help set up, volunteer for a couple hours to hand out candy, help kiddos vote, or talk to parents about the Democratic slate card,  WE NEED YOU!

Question: "What Should I Be Doing to Save Democracy?"
Answer: "Something, starting today."
JUST. DO. SOMETHING. 

We are now just a week away from the start of early voting. And we know it's been said many times over the past eight years, but this really is the most important election of our lives.  

This is not the time to sit back and let other people do the work. It's the time to roll up our sleeves and talk to voters: at the doors, on the phones, and in our neighborhoods.  Not one of us wants to wake up on Nov. 6th and wish we had done more to save our rights and freedoms, to save democracy from MAGA.  Every single one of us needs to DO MORE, and do it NOW. 

The calendar is full of events: fundraisers, information sessions, community activities, canvasses, and phonebanks.  Please, sign up for a canvass or phonebank. Volunteer. Show up.

There will be no do-overs on Nov. 6th.  The future of our children and grandchildren is at stake.  Let's make sure we do everything we can to protect them and their freedoms.

• Take five minutes today and look at your calendar. Decide what you will do during the nine days of early voting Oct. 26-Nov. 3.

• Then make sure you know what your plan is for Election Day, beyond the most minimum level of participation of voting.  Block your time. Clear your calendar. 

• It's time to GET OUT THE VOTE.
